Possible Transmission Troubles

• Slipping - RPM's go up and vehicle wont accelerate as it should
• No passing gear - no increase of power when pushing gas pedal to the floor.
• Erratic shifting - unexpected shifts, early or late shifts, and speeds of shifting keep changing.
• Vehicle moves back or forward in neutral or the park position.
• Vehicle stalls out on takeoff.
• Check engine light is on.
• Shifter - is difficult to move back and forward.
• Shift indicator - does not show or point to proper range.
• Harsh engagement - clunking into gear, noise going into gear, noise or clunking when vehicle shifts.
• Shuddering - back and forth feeling on takeoff or between shifts or vibrating on acceleration.
• Excessive amounts of debris in transmission pan during inspection.
• Overdrive or A/T light it on or flashing.
